Southwest Tow Operators was formed in 2006 to unite towers in Texas and the southwest. STO was organized to reach out to the many towing companies that are not members of a professional trade association.
Our goal is to improve the industry by:
- Educating our members on changes to industry regulations and rules
- Providing an environment for knowledge-sharing and networking
- Providing member benefits, such as State Certification Testing discounts and supplier discounts,
- Keeping the annual dues affordable for all companies.
Many towing companies are small and don't have the time or resources to keep up with regulatory requirements and changes. We are here to keep you abreast of what is going on in the industry and how you can comply with any new requirements. You are not alone. Just pick up the phone, and we will help you.
We encourage our members to help each other. Even though we are competing against each other, there is no
reason we can't work together to improve the industry. The more professional we are all, the better for our industry.
